Summary

Learn to move through pain to find clarity and healing using author, entrepreneur, and social media influencer Ashley LeMieux’s unique “Clarity Mapping” tool that will inspire and empower you to chart a course toward the future you deserve。

In her debut memoir, Born to Shine, founder of The Shine Project Ashley LeMieux shared life-changing lessons found in the darkest seasons of life。 I Am Here continues her journey to healing and transformation using the process she developed called “Clarity Mapping。” This tangible tool walks the readers through setting intentions, understanding why they are worthy of the life of their dreams, identifying the things they carry that no longer serve them, noticing the people they can serve, and finally, identifying the truest version of themselves。

I Am Here will help women reframe their thoughts, reimagine their lives, and reclaim their power, helping them determine priorities and create a plan to start moving toward their dreams。

The book included lots of personal anecdotes that were relatable to me as a female reader。 The list of "food for thought" type tasks at the end of each chapter was useful。 I did occasionally get a bit lost in a part of a chapter and move on, but generally an enjoyable self help type book。~This book was received as an ARC from HarperOne in exchange for an honest review ~ The book included lots of personal anecdotes that were relatable to me as a female reader。 The list of "food for thought" type tasks at the end of each chapter was useful。 I did occasionally get a bit lost in a part of a chapter and move on, but generally an enjoyable self help type book。~This book was received as an ARC from HarperOne in exchange for an honest review ~ 。。。more

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperOne for the ARC in exchange for an honest review。 I, for one, tend to seek out a good self-help book in my darker seasons, and this was one of those times。 I appreciated Ashley LeMieux’s vulnerability in her book, I Am Here。 Being unfamiliar with LeMieux’s work, I found this to be a refreshing, helpful read as I navigate my own life’s purpose。 The strategies and tools she provided the reader with, intertwined with her own story of healing, were empowering。 I cert Thank you to NetGalley and HarperOne for the ARC in exchange for an honest review。 I, for one, tend to seek out a good self-help book in my darker seasons, and this was one of those times。 I appreciated Ashley LeMieux’s vulnerability in her book, I Am Here。 Being unfamiliar with LeMieux’s work, I found this to be a refreshing, helpful read as I navigate my own life’s purpose。 The strategies and tools she provided the reader with, intertwined with her own story of healing, were empowering。 I certainly found myself taking notes as I read and highlighted inspiring quotes to look back on。 This was one of those books I intend to recommend to the women in my life who I know will benefit from LeMieux’s insights and experience。 。。。more

Ashley is such a passionate person and you can tell she really wants her readers to succeed and overcome challenges。 I enjoyed the section on reframing but after that I felt bored and didn’t really connect with the concept of Clarity Mapping。 I think this book will likely be a great fit for most of her audience, it just wasn’t a great fit for me。

Piles of positivity and a breath of fresh air in the clarity landscape。 Ashley Lemieux writes with a warm welcome, offering the best of what you'd want in a sit-down with a good friend。 Her overcoming focus rings true, and she steers clear of cheerleader overly-effusive pressuring。 It's a solid sense of belonging here, with the right pace to allow you to absorb her wonderful gems of insight without losing any along the way。 I'll set this book aside and come back to it again and again。 Piles of positivity and a breath of fresh air in the clarity landscape。 Ashley Lemieux writes with a warm welcome, offering the best of what you'd want in a sit-down with a good friend。 Her overcoming focus rings true, and she steers clear of cheerleader overly-effusive pressuring。 It's a solid sense of belonging here, with the right pace to allow you to absorb her wonderful gems of insight without losing any along the way。 I'll set this book aside and come back to it again and again。 。。。more
